Thanks very much to Mick Smyth and the guys for chartering the Rebecca C for the last 4 days. First day we had good fishing at the wrecks with plenty ling being caught, days 2 and 3 were slack. Despite our best efforts and steaming all around the south coast there weren't to many Cod and Po***ck caught. Today we hit the wrecks again and got some nice Ling and Haddock. We put out the Shark traces and a dubby and got 4 blue Shark to the boat, all tagged and safely released. Thanks gang for the craic and the laugh and we will see you all again on your next visit.

Good afternoon all. We left Ballycotton this morning at 6 am and what a beautiful morning it was. We stopped by the lighthouse and caught ourselves some Mackerel for bait and headed back toward power head for some mixed fishing. Things were slow with a few cod and po***ck and Mackerel being caught. We took a trip out to 1 of the closest wrecks and I didn't really know how it would go with the tides being so strong but it worked well for us. The guys got some beautiful ling, the biggest being 23lb. We headed back toward Ballycotton where the guys got themselves some fresh Mackerel for their supper this evening. I must get these great shower of guys in now as we have a new crew joining us at 2pm. Thanks to Steve and the lads and I will see you all in early october when you will be joining me for a Tuna trip aboard the Rebecca C.

Hello All. We went west today with the Rebecca C to try our look at catching a common skate and sure enough we got 1. We took the 2 hour trip from Ballycotton and got some mackerel around the old head before heading further west where we went and anchored up. Stephen hooked into a Beautiful common Skate at 191cm long and 146 cm wide. Congratulations to Stephen and we will see you again soon hopefully.

Had Guileen sea anglers out today wreck fishing and great results had by all. We fished 3 different wrecks and we kept the best til last. We had flat calm weather all morning and the fishing was consistently good. We had ling, Whiting and would you believe it, a blue shark caught off the wreck. Thanks lads for a very enjoyable day and I.hope to have you all back again soon.

Good days fishing today with Ballycotton Sea Adventures (Angling) aboard Cleona and Rebecca C. Weather was nice and plenty of Cod, and Pollack. Very few Mackerel again though. We also came on a scattering of pouting and 1 or 2 Ballins. Everybody seemed to have fun and we look forward to doing it all again tomorrow.
