Fastnet swim 2024 season got going in style on Radiance with sunrise at the lighthouse before Sophie Ryan swam to Baltimore in an unofficial time of 8hrs 37 minutes 28 seconds. Thanks to the crew andFastnet Swim for observing . To be ratified by Irish Long Distance Swimming Association. Well done Sophie, congratulations

This morning we were back to Fastnet lighthouse for a Fastnet to Baltimore swim.
Today on Radiance we had a 3way relay team Stuart, Charles and M.C. Kieran Collins was pilot, Steve Redmond was observer .
Stuart touched the rock and began the swim at 07.46. Each leg of the relay was for 1 hour and after some fantastic swimming from all 3, the swim was completed on the slipway in Baltimore with an unofficial time of 7 hours, 32 minutes and 51 seconds

Even though we had lovely sunshine, the strong easterly winds have kept us off the water for the past week. The wind is calming down and we will be getting out tomorrow Sunday at 12.00 midday in search for the fantastic wildlife just off Baltimore. If you want to join us call Kieran 086 3014971

Thanks to all who came out with us on Radiance today to see the fantastic wildlife just outside Baltimore. We saw Grey Seals, Common Dolphins, Basking Sharks, Minke Whales and Humpback Whales. The Humpbacks were putting on a show for us.We were treated to multiple tail flukes and a full breach.
We have kept Saturday next 28th for whale watching, don’t leave it too late to book your place. Call 086 3014971
