The Winter solstice is almost here! ...Did you know that one of Ireland´s most visited stone circles is in West Cork? Each year locals walk to the old stone circle - known as The Druids Altar - to welcome in the new year.

Irelands most noted Stone Circle, perhaps a little over restored but definitely the most visited.

Aer Lingus publish an inflight magazine called Cara. This autumn the magazine decided to do a little spotlight on Coast Walk Stories. So I took two of their writing staff out along the coast. The write-up is due to appear in one of the spring issues. Great fun had!

The Cara Magazine is the in-flight magazine available on all Aer Lingus flights. It is published by IMAGE Publications on behalf of Aer Lingus.

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of taking the staff at the Clonakilty Tourist Office on a Coast Walk Story. Blue skies, sun blazing, great company... magic!
