We had a lovely tour yesterday in good weather conditions we encountered shoals of feeding Bluefin tuna,several large pods of dolphins very active bait balling and feeding ,a humpback whale in the distance which we didn’t get near enough to get a good sighting and several minke whales,the weather tomorrow is looking good and we have a tour from Kinsale at 10 am,

The weather has developed into a more seasonal pattern with changes daily.Our best weather is tomorrow Tuesday with Wednesday a non runner due to wind and rain, Thursday and especially Friday looking promising,we have availability tomorrow if anyone would like to book or rebook from other days ,the last few tours have been very enjoyable with plenty of pods of common and bottlenose dolphins and Minke Whales .

The tours the last few days have been very enjoyable with lots of dolphin activity ,minke whales feeding on bait balls Manx ,sooty and Corey shearwaters feeding,seals on the ledges on Old Head,Horse Rock, and not to mention the Harbour seals that put on a display every evening in Kinsale Harbour.
The best sighting was of a Humpback Whale from the Lady Patricia on Saturday 22nd August SE of the Seven Heads we also ventured to the area on the Lady Catherine but after searching for a good while we didn’t see any more Humpback activity ,thankfully we got some images from Robert Rieken and while we can’t be certain it looks like it’s Boomerang a regular visitor to West cork waters ,great to see Humpback activity once again off Courtmacsherry and Kinsale areas.
