In my previous career as a wedding co-ordinator, I had the privilege of creating many memorable celebrations for hundreds of couples, all with different expectations and budgets. Every

couple was unique and in order to translate their dream wedding into a reality, I spent many hours getting to know and understand them. I will apply the same skills to creating your perfect holiday. I appreciate that people work very hard in order to get away for a break from the stresses of life. I have a particular expertise in cruises and spent nearly a decade cruising the seas with one of the most prestigious cruise liners at management level, During my time at sea I visited a huge variety of countries, many of which I later re-visited in my own time. Touched down late last night at Nana Golden Beach in Crete ~ arriving in darkness but already sensing how special it would be.

At first light, I wandered through the resort in perfect peace, and it’s as beautiful as I imagined.

Bonus for tennis lovers—this place is a dream, with so many courts ready for a match!

Just off MSC Seashore and wow, the grab-and-go game food options are amazing ! 🤩 Two new fast-casual spots are on board and included in your fare.

The Chicken Man ~ crispy tenders, juicy chicken sandwiches, a variety of sauces and a nice shaded deck spot on Deck 18.

Red Cactus BBQ & Ribs ~ breakfast, lunch with barbecue vibes near the aft infinity pool on Deck 8. Pulled pork, brisket, ribs, mac and cheese.

Plus, you’ve got five speciality restaurants ready to impress: Butcher’s Cut for steaks, Hola! Tacos and Cantina for Mexican flavours, Kaito Sushi Bar and Kaito Teppanyaki for authentic Asian dishes, and Ocean Cay Restaurant for seafood lovers. 18 bars and lounges serve drinks from sunrise to sunset, each with its own vibe. My personal favourite was Brooklyn. 🍸

The past two days were spent on MSC Cruises’ stunning private island, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve and honestly, I’m not sure relaxation gets much better than this 🌴☀️

Crystal clear waters, powder white beaches, swaying palm trees and pure laid back island vibes 🌴 Days were spent swimming, snorkelling, relaxing by the beach and enjoying a few pre dinner cocktails as the sun set 🍹

As night fell, the island completely transformed with MSC’s spectacular lighthouse light show lighting up the shoreline, such a lovely atmosphere and the perfect way to end another relaxing evening in paradise ✨

Now fully recharged and ready for the next port of call 🚢

Another day, another park… and this time it was all about Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure 🎢☀️

Now if you didn’t know already, theme parks and big rollercoasters would normally take me well out of my comfort zone… but honestly, I absolutely loved every minute of it 🤣
I tackled rides and rollercoasters I genuinely never thought I would do and came off some of them wanting to go again. Just as well I had the VIP pass 😉

Some of my favourites had to be:
🕷️ The Amazing Adventures of Spider Man
🎬 Revenge of the Mummy
🗽 Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon

The theming, atmosphere and attention to detail across both parks is incredible. One thing that really stood out to me was just how pristine and spotless everything was. The parks are immaculately maintained and every area feels so polished and well looked after.

After a full VIP day around the parks, we finished the evening soaking up a little taste of Italy at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel before heading across to Hard Rock Hotel Orlando for dinner and cocktails 🍸✨

Safe to say my step count is getting serious over here 👟☀️

Today we are slowing things down a little… watch this space 👀✨

In Cork today catching up with some of my amazing Travel Counsellors colleagues and our valued trade partners… and as I look out at that rain after the last few days of sunshine ☔️
It’s a reminder of just how lucky we are to work in an industry that’s all about chasing brighter days, new destinations and unforgettable experiences ✈️

Days like today are so important. Sharing ideas, learning from each other, strengthening those relationships that ultimately bring better experiences to my clients.

Because behind every seamless trip, there is a whole network working together to make it happen.
