🚒🚨🔥Wildfire Updates Killarney National Park🚒🚨🔥

🚨Potential emerging wildfire flare-ups

🚨The N71 Killarney to Kenmare Road has been closed
until further notice due to ongoing fire prevention operations
in the area around Five Mile Bridge.

🚨It is being actively monitored by the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) and Kerry County Council (KCC).

🚨Flare-ups have since occurred in this area and some are in difficult to reach locations. The helicopter has been reactivated and will assist in reaching remote locations.

🚨 Big shout out to all the staff and crews who are working tirelessly to contain this devastating fire.

Weather looking great for kayaking this week. ☀️

🌡️ ☀️ Another warm/hot day today with temperatures up to 28°C.

Warmest in the south and east where some good prolonged spells of sunshine.

In the north west cloud will persist and it will be much cooler.
