I love watching the heron hunting fish on the river Eske, at the foot of Donegal castle where his ancestors have hunted fish for centuries - and listen to that background birdsong - bliss!

A lovely turnout for the Get Ready With Me Victorian style event at Donegal Railway Heritage Museum on Saturday. The railway came to Donegal in the 1880s and we had a look at what a fashionable 1880s lady may have worn for a train journey and a nice cup of tea with chat and laughter afterwards ☕️ 😊 many thanks to the wonderful museum staff and management for their help!
