Scheduled walks take place in summer €8 per person (under 12s free)

Did you see me in my 1830s ensemble around town today? I gave a guided tour in the Romantic Era/1830s costume that I made to celebrate National Heritage Week and hopefully gave people an idea of what Donegal Town may have been like in the past!
There are a number of important buildings that were constructed or completed in the 1830s including the beautiful Church of Ireland.

A lovely afternoon with locals and visitors at the Fáilte Ireland Tourist Information Centre here in Donegal Town, showing the dressing process of a fashionable 18th century lady for a splendid evening.
Thank you to the amazing staff for their help with this National Heritage Week event!
I will be hosting this event again at Donegal Railway Heritage Museum this Friday 21st August at 3pm, and a 19th century Victorian era event on Saturday 22nd at 3pm, limited numbers, booking advised!
