A few new faces around here lately, so we thought we'd reintroduce ourselves!

We're Liam and Kat, the founders of Tara Tours Ireland.

We started Tara Tours with a simple idea: to show people the Ireland we know and love, with small groups, great local experiences and a personal touch that makes all the difference.

Today, alongside our fantastic team of Irish guides, drivers and the people working behind the scenes, we're proud to welcome travellers from all over the world and show them what Ireland is really about.

One of the biggest things stopping people from visiting Ireland?

Waiting for someone else to come with them.

A husband who isn't interested. Friends who can't agree on dates. Someone who keeps saying, "Maybe next year."

Here's something we've learned from running small-group tours.

You can arrive solo and have a fantastic time.

There are people to share dinner with, someone to sit beside on the coach, and usually a few new friends encouraging you into one last pub before the evening ends.

We can tell you all day how much we love showing people around Ireland.

But Scott probably says it better.

After travelling with us, he wrote:

"I won't do Ireland without experiencing it with Tara Tours!"

There's something unique about the last dinner on a Tara Tours Ireland trip.

At the first dinner, people are politely introducing themselves.

"Where are you from?"
"Is this your first time in Ireland?"

By the last dinner, someone's ordering a drink for the person beside them, someone else is retelling a funny story everybody witnessed, and there's usually talk of another trip together.

We've seen it happen time and time again.

We could show you another lovely photo of Ireland...
..But we'd rather show you the wonderful people who actually came with us.

The ones who started the week as strangers, learned far more Irish history than they expected, found a favourite pub, laughed at Liam's jokes (some of them, anyway) and discovered a side of Ireland they'd never have found on their own.

Some of the best places in Ireland are the ones most visitors never reach! 🇮🇪

The little pub where the music starts and nobody's in a hurry to leave. The winding roads through Donegal. The Atlantic crashing against the towering cliffs of Slieve League. The stories you hear from someone who actually grew up here.

This is why we do what we do!

Annette recently joined us for her first ever tour of Ireland, travelling alongside 20 other guests with Tour Director Liam and Driver Fergus looking after them along the way.

And this lovely 5-star review landed this week:

Last night, we gathered at the stunning Johnstown Estate to wrap up our Immersive Ireland Tour in true style. 🥂✨

This incredible group of 21 truly felt like family as we sat down for our final meal together ❤️

They shared endless laughs along this 10 day trip around Ireland. Every single moment of this tour was unforgettable!
