This week it was the turn of to host an elite amateur event in Ireland. The 121st staging of the Women's Amateur Championship took place this last week and what an event it was. The final match between .golf and went down to the wire with all 36 holes played. It was a fitting end to a great week at Portmarnock. Congratulations to .golf, , and all of those at Portmarnock Golf Club for hosting such a fabulous event.

Next up is the turn of who are hosting the this week. What a summer for golf in Ireland.

One week on from an amazing Men's Amateur Championship at we have yet another elite amateur championship taking place in Ireland. This week it's the turn of the women with the Women's Amateur Championship taking place at . A great venue for a great championship. With seven Irish women through to the matchplay stages we may be celebrating a home winner come Saturday 🤞

A day on the links of is always a good day, even when it's grey and overcast. Ardglass is a superb golf course that is a photographer's dream. Many of the holes are located directly along the coastline that provides a dramatic backdrop as you manoeuvre your way around the links.

Thanks to and all the guys at Ardglass Golf Club for their hospitality yesterday. It was great to get back out on the course and to rediscover the beauty of the link.

A brilliant finishing hole of a truly brilliant golf course. It was great to play again yesterday on what was a beautiful sunny day in Dublin. The course is in unbelievable condition and the changes to the course have only improved on what was there before. A personal favourite and an absolute must play when visiting the Dublin area.

Thanks to the team at for their hospitality yesterday. It was as always greatly appreciated. Next time we will make sure to call in and have a couple of the legendary club sandwiches 😋

We couldn't pass up the opportunity to play on our recent trip out west. A cracking golf course that lies just across the water from County Sligo Golf Club (Rosses Point) and is less than a 15-minute drive from Sligo Town. An absolute must play when visiting Sligo 🏌️⛳🌞

A great weekend spent in Enniscrone and we couldn't have asked for better weather or better company. We have singlehandedly kept the restaurants and bars of Enniscrone going for yet another year 🍔🍻😂

Thanks to all the guys at for their hospitality on Saturday. A great place to watch win the title post round. The club sandwich and burger were amazing as well and don't get me started on the brownie 🤤🤤🤤. The pints went down easy too 🍺

Such a fantastic course and such a fantastic place and we can't wait until next year's visit. We may even have to visit again before the year is out.

Some people have called it the Augusta National of Ireland and it's hard to argue with them. is stunning from start to finish and is an experience like no other.

On the eve of The Masters (or Christmas Eve for golfers) we are dreaming of an Irish win this weekend and of visiting Adare Manor once again this summer 🏌️⛳
