year round. Bird Watching
A boat trip to the far side of Dún Laoghaire is an ideal way to observe a wide variety of sea birds, from a drifting position, particularly during the period April to August. It is possible to get much closer to a large number of birds including nesting birds than it is from land. It is one of the few places Puffins can be observed at very close quarters.
