Sian Sharkey has over 20yrs hairdressing experience. Working in Toni&Guy for 10 of these years, Sian has spent time in both the Dublin and Sydney salons. Loving fashon, editiorial, Stage and bridal work aswell as cutting and styling.! Gearing up for wedding season - Get to know wedding me!!

I love to have a clear picture of the end result before I start styling - so inspo pics are a must for me.

I love seeing the style come together through the mirror - But it’s not essential. Once I have a normal height chair and a clear surface for my tools and products I’m happy!

I don’t rely on loads of different products, I stick to the staples that I know and trust.

I don’t follow an exact schedule on the wedding morning, I like to work alongside the makeup artist so everything runs smoother. I’ll provide a start time and a finish time, what happens so between will depends on each persons hair

I ask my brides to arrive with their hair dried smooth but not over styled, this gives me the perfect base to work with

I almost always recommend clip in hair extensions if your wearing your hair down - wedding days are long and this will ensure longevity in your style

I don’t usually need any more than 40 minutes per person, I like to work smarter not harder and I hate overcomplicating things

I recommend but don’t always require trials. Most of my brides will have one, but if you can’t make it that’s fine - I just make sure there’s plenty of communication beforehand.
