The Irish Hospitality Institute is proud to announce Ciara Drohan, Group HR Manager of Tifco Hotel Group has been elected the 31st President of the Irish Hospitality Institute.
With over two decades of experience in Human Resources, Ciara has held senior HR positions across leading hospitality brands including Jurys Doyle Hotel Group, Mercer Accommodation Group, Dunboyne Castle and Dylan Hotel, and the Cliff Group. Since 2021, she has served as Group Human Resources Manager at Tifco Hotel Group, overseeing strategic HR initiatives across a diverse hotel portfolio.

Last Wednesday, the IHI had the privilege of attending our first college visit to DkIT Department of Hospitality Studies for a College to Career Event. It was a fantastic experience, and we were joined by our members Deirdre Buckley, Alan Rooney MIHI and Patrick Mc Namara, who generously shared their valuable advice and insights with the students.
The morning seminar wrapped up with a great opportunity for students and members to network.
We’d like to express our sincere thanks to Maria Roddy-Freyne MIHI, Kevin Burns and Lorraine Dunne for their hard work in organizing such a successful event.
