I loved smoking cigs more than life itself 🚬

Got up to 2 packs a day during my 20 year adventure with ni****ne and dopamine hits!

Lit up 🔥 every time I would close a deal, order a meal, finish a meal, hear a song I loved, start the car, park the car, before yoga class, after yoga class, with a drink, without one…you name it!

No shame.

Every thought and action revolved around when I could get my next hit.

12 years ago yesterday, 8-17-14, I did the thing.

I gave it up. Cold turkey baby! 🦃

Funny thing about it all…

The hardest part was deciding.

If you’re sitting on the edge and wondering about how, who, when, what and where…stop with all that nonsense.

Just decide. Or not.

Damn I feel good about my decision.

Bought myself a sistrum (sacred instrument from ancient Egypt) to celebrate my anniversary and the ability to listen from within.

It’s noisy out there.

Go deep within for all of your answers.

Listening to my own body’s wisdom this morning after meditation.

It told me that it’s time for a name change for my 1:1 signature 8-week program designed for female professionals on the super highway of over-giving, self-betrayal, and saying yes when the body really wants to say no!

What started out as “Revive & Thrive”, is now called “Aligned & Divine.”

Because what unfolds during our time together, is meeting yourself where you actually are (acceptance + grace), adjusting your sail ever so slightly to course correct (alchemy), and taking a new direction that actually feels good in YOUR body (alignment).

Not because it looks good on paper, or what society thinks you should be doing!

Because it’s real and true for YOU, and no one else!

You get to meet yourself in the depths of your own reality while simultaneously remembering your own divinity.

I manifested this trip and experience with my son.

It was always a dream of mine to take him on a Wild West dude ranch adventure.

I also had limiting beliefs running under the surface such as “I can’t spend that kind of money and what is a single mom doing taking her child by herself to a dude ranch!”

So, 8 years ago, during the 8-8 portal known as Lions Gate, I wrote down this dream dude ranch vision and placed it in a clear mason jar.

Little did I know that 9 months later, I would be the lucky ticket winner during the 50/50 raffle from my son’s school charity event.

When I bought the $100 raffle ticket, I told my son what I would do when I won the money.

His excitement fueled mine, so each night at dinner, we would “imagine” our time together at a dude ranch out west.

And just like magic, we found ourselves on this epic trip out west!

We both still remember our horses names: Starbucks, the white horse who chose me, and Thunder who was quite the match for Carson - always going his own way off the trail.

You see, Magic is always around us. 🪄

All we have to do is get clear about what it is we want to experience, decide that it is done, and celebrate it right now.

Don’t wait to feel the joy, feel it NOW.

That is the secret! ❤️‍🔥

None of us really know what the hell we are doing.

But this.
This right here…
Reminds me that I am alive, wise, and well despite the static noise and distortion all around.

Nothing to do.
Nowhere to be.
No one to please.
No performance measured.
Nothing to cross off the list.
No ring to close.

Isn’t that the whole point anyway?

Carving out space to be with myself and make every challenge I have/am facing transform into something beautiful, IS the gift!

Overwhelmed with gratitude today, thinking of all the people I’ve had the honor and pleasure of impacting through the power of events, speaking and coaching.

Whatever challenge you may be facing, sitting with it and FULLY feeling it, is the fastest (and only) way through!
