from Niamh: "We are looking for a live In au pair to join our family at the beginning of January 2019(around the 4th or 5th as our currents au pairs last day is on the 9th January) . We would like you to spend a few days with here to get to know the children’s routines / meet the other local au pairs and make friends with the children.
We live near Dublin City. We have 3 very active children, 2 boys (7 & 5) and 1 Girl (3). During school term the boys go to school from 8.50 – 2.30 / 1.30 and Ellie goes to Montessori from 9am – 1pm. The school are beside each other and an 8 minute walk from the house so no driving is required.
We live in Booterstown in south Dublin – on many bus and train routes into the city centre ( around 15 mins to city centre ) The are lots of au pairs living locally so you would meet lots of friends very quickly. We are looking for somebody with a big interest in children / with some experience with young children and an intermediate level of English to help with boys homework. We have had lots of past au pairs that were like a big sister to the children so plenty of excellent reference available! There are lots of nice shops / restaurants walking distance away so you don’t need to go to the city to go shopping!
This is a full time position ( both parents are professionals ) so you would be working from 7am – 9am ( free time after dropping the children to school ) and then in the afternoons when the children finish school until 5.30/6pm.Evenings and most weekends free apart from the occasional nights babysitting( max 3 times per month). We are looking for somebody to stay a minimum of 7 months. Please note this is a full time position so would not suit if you need to attend college during the day / have visa restrictions (college in evenings / weekends is no problem! )
You will have your own room with WiFi , TV, Netflix and all food/ bills paid for and excellent rate of pocket money per week. We also provide full gym / gym classes and swimming pool membership so you can enjoy this in your free time. We would very much like you to become part of our family.
