🐶Calling all dog lovers and their four-legged friends! Join us at Whitehead Railway Museum for a tail-wagging day out at Paws on the Platform- a fun-filled dog-themed event for the whole family.
🐕We’re delighted to welcome The Nose Zone , who will be running exciting demonstrations with their operational Scent Detection teams throughout the day. Visitors and their dogs can also take part in interactive “have-a-go” scent activities, mini training classes and enjoy the chance to chat with professional trainers at the “Ask the Dog Trainer” area.
Activities throughout the day include:
Doggy stalls and treats
Fun competitions and prizes for your canine companions
Mini dog training sessions including tricks, recall, attention work and interactive play
🚂Short steam train rides within the museum grounds with your pooch aboard
Whether you’re a dedicated dog enthusiast or simply looking for a unique family day out, Paws on the Platform promises plenty of fun, entertainment and pawsitive memories for everyone.
Hauled by our 105 year-old steam locomotive No.3BG "Guinness", there will be short steam train rides available within our premises using our heritage carriages. You will be transported to a bygone era! Tickets also include full access to our 5 gallery museum.
Our café will be open for hot and cold food and refreshments. And while you relax with a hot drink, your furry friend can enjoy a puppacino!
