Started in the spring time of 2015 by two Irish men. Providing personally guided tours to anybody seeking a taste of Ireland, its country side, history, traditions, folklore, food and culture. Our tours cover the counties of Louth,

Meath, Monaghan and Armagh. This area of Ireland is steeped with history, rolling green hills and native Irish speakers. Famous for traditional Irish music, song and dance and a place referred to as one of Ireland's best kept secrets, soulful and therapeutic. The Free Walking Tour of Carrickmacross starts again on Saturday May 6th at 11am and every Saturday until September. Meet at the Courthouse, the tour takes about 90mins. Learn all about the wonderful history of the town. Everyone welcome. Please share with friends and family.

The Magic Numbers, We Cut Corners, David McSavage, Heroes in Hiding and many more are coming to county Monaghan this August for Carrickmacross Arts Festival 2017. Early Bird tickets are only €40 on sale now at www.carrickmacrossartsfestival.com

The four day unique boutique festival runs from August 10th to 13th and includes original music, comedy, poetry, cinema, arts & crafts, artisan trade stalls and Children’s Activities.

Double Platinum, Mercury Nominated, Pop Rock Londoners, The Magic Numbers will be making their way to county Monaghan this August and will be joined by Choice Music Prize 2017 Nominees We Cut Corners and Choice song of the year nominees Heroes in Hiding. The hilarious genius behind The Savage Eye, Mr. David McSavage is also announced and joining him on the Comedy stage is award-winning stand up and sketch comedian Lisa Casey.

The line-up boasts a healthy array of rising musical talent too with the likes of TPM, Accidents in the Workplace, Grace Wilde, Nix Moon and We, The Oceanographers making their way to the sunny south Monaghan Drumlins this Summer.

Affectionately known as Ireland’s Biggest Small Festival, Carrickmacross Arts Festival has previously played host to the likes of Declan O’Rourke, Delorentos, DeDannan, Ham Sandwich, John Spillane, Kila, The Frank and Walters and Wallis Bird in recent years and has received nominations for “Best Small Festival” at the European Festival Awards and “Best Overseas Festival” at the UK Festival Awards.
