🍀Tara and Peter's home was nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL and we HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here! From the moment you walk through the door and are gently greeted by pleasant well- chosen aromas, you know you're walking into a high-quality, perfectly designed and laid out Airbnb and somewhere you'll be delighted to call "home" for during your stay. It was hard for us to even want to leave the house to explore! We were fortunate enough to stay right before Christmas and it was clearly evident that Tara had put considerable thought and time into decorating the home just right with a Christmas tree and various beautiful additions. Everything about the home made us feel like we were the first people to ever stay in a brand new construction. All appliances and kitchen utensils were high-quality and in perfect condition. The large dining table with runners and decorations was so inviting and just begged for a delicious home-cooked meal to be enjoyed at it. The beautiful bathroom and shower was spotless and had everything you might think of needing, including matching robes and slippers were ready and waiting. The living room offered comfortable couches and chairs with accompanying native, soft, and alluring blankets and throws that allowed you to cozy up and feel right at home while watching your favorite show on the nice tv! The bed linens were soft, the mattresses were comfortable, and the bedroom was so nice with all the windows (we especially loved the roof windows that you could open and look out of) while offering blinds that blacked out the room if you wanted to get some shuteye during the daylight. Tara had also left us some special treats and surprises here and there that made us feel so happy to have chosen their magical listing! Tara, Peter, and family were such friendly hosts and warmly welcomed us into their beautiful Airbnb. They offered some great recommendations for local activities which we highly suggest considering! Places like the breathtaking Carrickfinn Beach located literally a minute or two drive from the house, Glenveagh National Park and Castle was probably one of the most scenic drives we've experienced in our lives, and Caisleáin Óir which offered food and the perfect live traditional Irish music in a small community pub/bar experience! We also went to the Wheelhouse Cafe in Burtonport for breakfast. It was so good we went back again for lunch the next day- highly recommended. Hands down this was the BEST airbnb we've stayed at in Ireland (and we've stayed at quite a few). Our recommendation: you will not be disappointed- stop looking, you found "the one"! BOOK NOW without a second thought!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️But do be careful though- once you arrive, you'll never want to leave to go back home! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you Tara, Peter and family, we can't wait to come back again!
