rs and stories that shaped its history. Hear about the mythology and legends of the town – from banshees to Biddy Early (the magical lady of Clare who was tried for witchcraft in Ennis). Hear tales of murders and hangings, famine and poverty, rebellions and riots and discover how the most powerful men from Irelands past – amongst them Daniel O’Connell, Eamon de Valera and Charles Stewart Parnell were closely linked to the town. Wow — what a turnout! 🌟

We had a fantastic response to our Women’s Heritage at Risk walking tour of Ennis on Saturday for Heritage Week.

It was a lovely afternoon exploring the lives, stories and experiences of the women who shaped Ennis’s history - many of whose stories have been overlooked or forgotten.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped us bring these women’s stories back onto the streets of Ennis. 💜
