🚗 Travelling to the Cliffs of Moher Experience this weekend? Please allow extra time for your journey and adhere to recommended detours.

The Walker Cup at Lahinch Golf Club is expected to bring significant traffic congestion to North Clare, particularly around Lahinch, Liscannor and routes serving the Cliffs of Moher Experience. Visitors should expect delays throughout the weekend.

🚌 Passengers using the Burren & Cliffs Explorer Shuttle Bus (BC1) should also be aware that services will experience delays due to increased traffic and temporary stop-go traffic management measures in the area.

Some delays expected on our Cliffs of Moher Shuttle Buses this weekend, along with our 331 Local Link Route. 🙂

📣🛻🏌Motorists are advised to expect delays in the Lahinch area over the weekend of Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6, 2026 due to increased traffic attending the Walker Cup at Lahinch Golf Club

🟢 Gardai will be implementing temporary traffic stop and holds on the Liscannor Road throughout Saturday and Sunday mornings and early afternoons. Drivers may wish to avoid this section of road during this time and use alternative routes

🟢 Be aware of higher volumes of pedestrians than normal in Lahinch

🟢 The lower level of the Promenade car park is closed to the public from Monday, August 31 until Wednesday, September 9, inclusive

The following car parks will remain open as normal to members of the public all week:
🔵 The upper level of the Promenade car park and coach parking area
🔵 Liscannor Road car park
🔵 Miltown Malbay Road car park

🟢 The R&A are also providing additional parking at Lahinch Community Sports Field, The Castle Course and on the Milltown Road. The additional parking on the Milltown Road will only be used if required. Please follow AA road sign directions for event parking

🟢 Coaches requiring Walker Cup event parking should use the Lahinch bus stop as a drop-off and pick-up area, then follow AA signage to the coach waiting area at Ennistymon Community School

🟢 8,000 fans are expected to attend each day - fans without tickets are advised not to travel to the venue as they will not be able to purchase tickets on the gate

One of our lovely customers lost her wallet on our 331 Local Link Ballyvaughan/Ennis Service. Our Amazing Rasheed found the wallet and has given it back to the lady. (Yes thats Rasheed that featured on our Donkey Photo! 😂) One VERY Happy customer as you can see from her beaming smile 😁

We cant recommend the Burren National Park enough! An absolutely incredible place to become at one with Nature.
Now that the kids are back to school, take some time for yourself & hope on one of our FREE Shuttle Buses and discover the beauty of the Burren.
