The inspirational Bronagh O'Rourke of Burren Farm Experience and Burrenbeef in Boston, Co. Clare talks about the Eddy Flux Tower on their limestone farm. The tower has been installed by Teagasc to measure the amount of Carbon being absorbed and emitted by the land. Proud members of the Burren Ecotourism Network, Bronagh and her husband Cathal provide farm walks, have converted the old farmhouse to an Airbnb and have also started established an excellent beef brand over the past 7 years.

Lovely message here from Mary Hawkes Greene of the Burren College of Art in Ballyvaughan regarding their focus on "Art in Ecology", where students are encouraged to adopt the principles of Leave No Trace. Attendees of the college are immersed in the very unique environment of the Burren, learning a great deal about the natural environment while they are here. In many cases their work is inspired by the landscape and how we care for it, as was the case with one student recently!
