I'm all buzzed up for the busy season, need to burn some energy on a few courses. Next one is 2 weeks out so jump on!!!

Will be later in January before the next course after these. Good few spaces are already taken too.

Pics from a wholesome weekend on a mountain skills 1 with Galway Sports Partnership .

I'm really starting to feel the Sun lower. The sideways light hitting Connemara is pure magic. It really peaks coming into November.

The cold wind is definitely here for the season, and the wet wet rain some days. I've bought a new jacket, lets see how it fairs. Review incoming !

This months Friday Night Hike is live!!! Setting off at sunset for a 2 hour loop in the Burren is basically like walking on the moon.

Stretch the legs after work, make some new friends, and have it feel like a 3 day weekend !

Super happy to be back working in Connemara after a few weeks away!

I started with a very wet and very wonderful lap of Letterbreckaun in Maamturks with a fun crew. Plenty of laughs between the showers, drinking from the fresh streams, and watching the season change with new plants and flowers coming up.

IMRA Northwest had their second day of Mountain Skills 1 in the 12 Bens. Great to meet the team again. The volunteers are doing great work getting people running in the hills. A lovely community and such a low cost! (I'll get some of the pizza soon)

Also took a spin down to the Burren for a quick jaunt on the Black Head loop on Tuesday. The September sunshine is still hanging around !

On of my favorite hikes in Connemara! A rarely climb peak at the top of the Inagh valley. It has possibly the best hike-to-view ratio I've ever found!

Ireland's toughest but best hike. It's a serious challenge, with the terrain changing massivly over 6 peaks. Epic view and a strong team to do it with make it unforgettable.

This is the last time I will guide it this year, as the weather is too unpredictable from here out. If you want to get this loop done in 2026, nies your chance.
