Blue Shark Angling Galway is an angling/fishing charter boat based in Ros A Mhil, in Connemara, Co.galway
We offer fishing trips, sight seeing, sea safaris/dolphin/whale watching trips as well as private charters to the Aran Islands. John has over 10 years’ experience at sea both sea angling and crewing on commercial boats, ferries and workboats. Fishing and angling has always been a part of John’

s life as his father was a commercial fisherman for years and his parents run a seafood business. John has a commercial B skippers ticket and yachtsmaster ticket.

Were back at it💪 unreal day at sea nice calm conditions and plenty of sun.
Fishing wasnt hectic but some nice po***ck, wrasse and a few early mackerel.

Been very slack on the posting lately we have been busy fighting weather with anglers and potting alike.
So here's a bit of what's going on.
Plenty of po***ck on the go most days, some nice tope fishing when we can get the anchor down, with a couple of spurs and huss thrown in as well.
We had some nice gurnards and wrasse too.

Fishing has been pretty steady when we can get to sea.

Still have a couple of weekend dates left for October and November mainly targeting whitefish on the reefs.

We were just in time to see the finish of some of the galway ho**er racing that wastaking place from sruthan on the other side of casla bay.
Great sight for anyone who hasn't experienced it.

Mighty craic as usual with the .
Species hunting again.
Specific targets today, few lads needed coalies ling and cuckoos and bits and pieces for there species hunt which we ticked off there lists.
Plenty of po***ck, ling, wrasse, sandeel and mackerel, scad, with some minis as well.
Lots of pouting and poor cod as well.
We tried for a Tope but unfortunately no avail.
Tom joined the lads as well and went home with a nice feed for himself and friends🎣

Weather is absolutely unbelievable at the moment. Thankfully😎
Changed it up today with james and his son matt and went to chase some tope.
Mackerel we're easy found this morning so we headed straight for a bank and anchored up.
We weren't waiting too long before we had a nice huss, and shortly after we were into the tope.
We had roughly 10 tope or possibly a few more i lost count🤣
We decided to make a move to a Reef and anchored up there as well, unfortunately no huss or spurs but we had some nice po***ck and ling
Lovely day on the sea and good fishing.
What more would ya want🎣

Some updated availability this month.
We have this Monday 11th, Tuesday 12th and thursday the 14th available.
Full boat available on each of these days due to cancellations.

We can hit the reefs for po***ck /species etc.
Banks for Tope and spurs,
Or chase some porbeagles or blues as well.

Dolphin watching and sightseeing also available.
