Take some tips from the locals who run our tours and enjoy the best food and drinks of Galway!
Tig Cóilí- Often referred to as the "Home of Traditional Music", the trad sessions here are some of the best in Galway city. Sessions are on each week night at 6pm and 9:30pm, Saturdays at 6pm and 10pm, and Sundays at 2:30pm, 6pm, and 9pm. This is a classic stop to grab a pint and experience the famous trad seshes of Galway.
Taaffes - Along Shop Street sits Taaffes Bar Galway, hosting a great pint of Guinness, wonderful music, and outdoor seating in the center of Galway's liveliest streets. If you’re hungry, you may also find yourself enjoying one of their toasties or baps, too.
The Quays - Known by the famous Galway Girl statue out front, Quays Bar Galway always stands out. If you continue inside, you'll be met with stained glass, wooden archways, and a pipe organ stage where there is live music nightly.
Tigh Neachtain - The outdoor seating at Tigh Neachtain is the perfect spot to grab a pint and enjoy the live music from buskers just beside the pub. And though the outside is certainly a treat, the inside is just as beautiful. It is entirely wood with pictures, books, and fireplaces all around.
An Púcán- From a full Irish breakfast to a hearty dinner to drinking a pint and watching the game, An Pucan has it all. The inside frequently has excellent live music, a late night DJ, and outside, there is a beer garden with big screens for all types of sports, and even a photobooth to always remember your night there!
The Skeff Bar - With a couple stories, there is always a place to enjoy yourself in 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐤𝐞𝐟𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐫 & 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧. Not only is there great food, drinks, and live music, they also host events like Trivia Nights on Thursdays, and are the meeting point for our tours.
The Crane Bar - In Galway's West End, hosts some of the best trad sessions and musicians nightly, as well as a captivating Celtic storytelling by Celtic Tales / Rab Fulton on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm. If you attend the storytelling and stay for music, hold onto your seats - it fills up fast!
Róisín Dubh - Also in Galway's West End, Róisín Dubh is a great find. Keep an eye on their website and
