That’s a wrap for the 2024 summer season! Our ferries get a well deserved rest in the safety of Lawrence’s Cove, Bere Island, for the winter. When’s your next trip to Garinish Island?

Blue Pool Ferries depart the Blue Pool every 30 minutes from 10am. Located in the centre of Glengarriff, it couldn’t be more convenient to grab a snack at Quill’s outdoor food market and stroll down to the ferry.

WE ARE OPEN!!

With the 2024 season ahead of us we welcome the opening of Garinish Island and with it our daily ferry service.

Ferries departing the Blue Pool every 30 minutes from 10am, stopping by our resident seals and white tailed sea eagles along the 15 minute ferry ride!

🚨Glengarriff’s latest arrival 🚨

This young white tailed sea eagle chick hatched in Glengarriff Harbour last March/April and was spotted fledging the nest last week!

With little sight of the chick since, we’re happy to say he was spotted early this morning getting familiar with Ship Island!
