Did you know… there’s an army of community volunteers that keeps many of the off-road public tracks and trails across Howth Head accessible, safe, and maintained; the very paths you may wander over on your visit to Howth.

🌿🪾Howth Pathways were recently presented with two complete electric power trimmer kits by our general manager Eoin Kernan, donated by us at Explore Howth on behalf of our member businesses. We are hugely grateful for the work of all the Howth Pathways volunteers, and we plan to collaborate with them further in the future.

🙏🏻 Thanks to Emerald Groundscare for supplying the kits.

P.S. They are also recruiting volunteers; two hours max, walking the head and maintaining the paths. If you, or someone you know, are keen, let us know and we’ll connect you.

The Howth Maritime & Seafood Festival is back! Join us on 23rd & 24th May (12–6pm) for a weekend of seaside fun.

Howth is the place to be this St. Patrick’s ☘️

From live music in cosy pubs to great b**r and whiskeys, guided hikes along the cliffs, foraging experiences, and the Harbour to Harbour walk along our beautiful coastline.

And that’s only a taste of it… there is plenty more going on throughout the village all weekend. Come explore, soak up the atmosphere, and celebrate St. Patrick’s in one of the most beautiful spots on the coast 🌊

One week on from All Shucked Up festival and we’re still on such a high! The Howth Guinness oyster & music festival just gets bigger and better every year 🤍🎵🦪

A big shoutout to all of our local restaurants for being part of it, to the incredible musicians who took part, and to Paul Byrne for creating such a brilliant event.
