Emerald Outdoors Emerald outdoors is owned and run by two friends, Colin and Jamie, who met whilst working as kayak guides on the river Nile in Uganda.

Adventure of every kind in Kenmare ⛰️🌊

The Emerald Outdoors team swapped the kayaks for a day of gorge walking with Sea to Summit Adventures — waterfalls, rock slides, jumps and plenty of laughs along the way.

One of the best things about staying in Kenmare is the sheer amount of adventure on the doorstep. Paddle the bay, explore the mountains, admire the stars, hike, cycle, gorge walk… and come back to Kenmare at the end of it all for wonderful food and amazing hotels.

Good news for everyone else: for the first time in over two weeks, we’ve got spaces available on our kayak tours — and conditions are looking ideal.
