Emerald Outdoors is delighted to announce a new product that we are developing for the upcoming season: Ireland’s first underwater kayak tours of Kenmare Bay!!!! Unlike our normal tours, wetsuits will be required on this one (we haven’t yet found a way to keep you completely dry whilst under water… but we will keep trying!)

Here is a post that we don’t get to make every day…

Colin (co-founder and owner of Emerald Outdoors) is normally in charge of our social media… but here is a post that he would never post himself.

We are delighted to announce that Colin recently achieved the milestone of Level 5 instructor with Canoeing Ireland. This is the highest level of kayak instructorship available in Ireland, there are only a handful of people in the country who have been able to achieve this!

Add to that the fact that Colin founded the Irish Whitewater Racing League, completed the first ever traverse of the Arabian gulf by kayak and has numerous first descents to his name (including the first ever source to sea descent of the river Lee).
