Emerald Outdoors Emerald Outdoors offer relaxing guided tours of Kenmare bay. Jamie has recently returned from several years teaching kayaking in Uganda and Nepal.

Explore the hidden beauty of the bay by day or wonder at sparking bioluminescence by night; their experienced guides will help you get closer to nature in an eco-friendly kayak. Emerald outdoors is owned and run by two friends, Colin and Jamie, who met whilst working as kayak guides on the river Nile in Uganda. Both have worked as white water kayak coaches around the world and they have over 22 ye

ars coaching and guiding experience between them. Colin is back from an epic expedition, in which he provided rescue cover whilst also becoming one of the first people to kayak more than 2000km of the Arabian gulf, from Kuwait to Oman.

Jamie and Rowan from took off their kayaking wellies today and went on a fantastic foodie tour of Kenmare with Karen Coakley of Kenmare Foodie Tours. Highly recommended!! Kenmare truly has it all, from the food, to wonderful hotels, to the heritage and history and, of course, the beautiful bay to explore! Slow yourself down, take your time and enjoy your in the wonderful .
