Donegal Bay delivered two red-letter days we'll never forget! The weather finally cleared up, and the fishing was on fire—more fish than we've seen in years. It was non-stop action, with fish after fish.
Yesterday, we broke our record with 12 amazing fish, and today we smashed it with 13! This makes us the top boat or organization in northern Europe for satellite tagging and DNA sampling Bluefin Tuna.
A massive shout-out to my great friends from the Marine Institute, Alan Drum and Joe Cooney. They've been leading the charge here since 2016, and they just broke all records for non-traditional Bluefin Tuna countries in Europe, tagging and sampling 25 tuna in two days! A huge thank you also to Darragh, Alan's son, who was a huge help on board yesterday. Their dedication is what makes the satellite tagging program here in Donegal Bay world-class. It’s an honor to be a part of it.
