The point offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and rugged cliffs, home to many seabirds and seals. St. John's Point Lighthouse, has been guiding ships along the coast since it was first established in 1831.

If you're near Killybegs, you can easily include a visit to St. John's Point to enjoy the coastal views and the iconic lighthouse as part of your exploration of the Donegal region.

Today Killybegs is a popular tourism destination and a number of large cruise ships visit the port throughout the summer months.
