Tuna season 2026 is up and running with 2 nice fish, first fish was about 200lb and the 2nd was about 300lb both fish taking beautifully by Paul on the stand up gear, we were literally only going again after releasing the 1st fish when the 2nd fish hit, and a beautiful site to see a humpback whale breach in the distance while we were fighting our first fish, nearly had a 3rd fish, but didn't hook up properly, nice bit of life starting to show at times today,, so hopefully the bluefin start to show in numbers

Had a enjoyable day out on the water yesterday doing a species hunt, managed 15 for the day, with Dessie doing the best with 12, even missed 2 or 3 normally easier ones, but a great day out with good company.
So the Bluefin Tuna have arrived and our first booking is next Sunday, so hopefully we get the season up and running with a fish or two,
