So happy to get good weather finally, but what 2 different days we had over the weekend, on Saturday weather wasn't brilliant but managed the conditions alright, but am afraid the fishing was a struggle, we fond it hard to come on the fish and when we did, we had a battle with the seals, they seem to be everywhere. And today was the opposite, with beautiful sunshine and the fishing was mighty, plenty of po***ck and wrass going all day, had a few battles with seals today too but not as bad, weather is looking promising for next weekend too, will have a few places for next Sunday, can book a place here or 00353876224348

First trip of 2026, very cold out today, we managed to get the full trip in before the weather turned bad, got off to a steady start but died away at the trunk of the tide, and picked up again for the last couple of hours, mostly po***ck with 2 very big wrass, the catch off the day goes to the youngest lad on the boat, getting a fine po***ck, and his smile says it all

Had 10 hardy souls out today for a full day's trip, plenty off ice on the boat this morning that had to be removed before I got the crew on board,
No mackerel to be found today, and the po***ck were hard to come by, but still managed a few decent sized fish, but was nice to get out after a nice few days relaxing over Christmas
