Fishing Adventures is a Sea Angling business operating a Lochin 33 fast workboat the ( Lady Gwen II) from Kilbaha, Carrigaholt and Kilrush Marina depending on weather and demand. Sean Maguire your skipper has years of experience sea angling and will cater for the novice to the experienced angler. Tackle and bait are provided but bring your own if you prefer. (booking is essential)

The Mighty Dubs were back again for a shark trip today. Good action with a few blues in the region of 100lb and a big male porbeagle around 230 lbs, also lots of spurdogs, and very nice whiting.

Fishing 🎣 in the Shannon estuary yesterday as too breezy for the Atlantic. Good selection of species including some good po***ck and nice big mackerel.

Tipperary boys out yesterday, one of my regular groups. Po***ck and mackerel fishing 🎣 in the morning to top up the freezer’s. We anchored in the afternoon and had Tope, bullhuss, and dogs, and great craic as usual.

Blessed with beautiful weather the last few days fishing. We weren’t shark 🦈 fishing yesterday, but put out a rod for a big porbeagle shark that was circling the boat, and what a fight.

A family group from Indiania USA on a fishing excursion today. Turned out a beautiful day on the sea, quite a few species and some great stories and fun.

Reasonable po***ck fishing the last few days, lots of spurs, mackerel and squid and a few other species.

Good po***ck yesterday morning with feathers and lures, then we had a hectic time fishing mackerel for a spell. We decided to have a go for some whiting, but as soon as we started using bait we were plagued with spurdogs.
A fantastic day on the Ocean with this Limerick crew.

Weather just about permitted us to get back out on the Atlantic today. Good po***ck, mackerel and lots of spurdogs on the take today.

A day in the Shannon estuary yesterday with an Irish group and a few friends from Cyprus. A day of fun and relaxation. No sign of fresh mackerel, so we used frozen bait. Lots and lots of dogfish but no other species, but everyone had a great day.

Foggy start to the day’s fishing 🎣 yesterday, but cleared to a beautiful sunny, hot day. A great day on the boat with this Limerick crew, who played every rebel song written on their stereo.
