Our Story
In 1991 The Sandwich Co opened its first sandwich bar in Derry's city centre. Our goals today are the same as they were back then. We offer a unique eating experience and deliver food, atmosphere and comfort beyond the expectations of our customers, with food being served that would be identical from any of our stores. Today, there are 11 Sandwich Co outlets on both sides of the border.

They are all exceptional locations, serving the finest range of sandwiches available anywhere in Ireland and with one key difference to other chains out there.

We’re excited to share an important update from The Sandwich Co family

After 19 successful years in Letterkenny (since 27.07.07), the café has officially moved into new hands. We’d like to wish Kevin all the very best as he takes on the franchise, we know it’s in great hands.

Customers can expect the same friendly faces, the same dedicated staff, and of course the same fresh, high quality sandwiches and coffee you know and love.

From our beginnings in Derry in 1991 to cafés across the Northwest, our goal has always been simple: great food, made fresh, served with care. That won’t change.
Here’s to the next chapter in Letterkenny and many more years ahead!
