Supporting Women and Wildlife are 2 of our favourite things to do ❤️
Paper made from Elephant dung! How cool is this! And its all helping to prevent human wildlife conflict between commuities and Elephants living side by side in Queen Elizabeth National Park in western Uganda.
All future trips to Queen Elizabeth will include a stop here to support the Katara womens group 🥰

Our Borneo trip isnt just about Orangutans 🇮🇩
This is a picture of the Maroon Langur which is 1 of 9 primates species found in Tanjung Puting National Park.

Thank you to everyone who travels with us, its because of you that we are able to support projects like this ❤️
Last week we were in Bwindi for a 3rd year in a row supporting a team from the incredible USPCA for a community outreach programme rabies vaccinating/deworming and even spay/neutering local dogs and cats.
A project close to our heart and one we will work hard to support more 🙏
We even gave each dog a red collar so people can easily know this dog has been vaccinated in the area.

Why do we do this?
Rabies is a Zoonotic disease which means it can spread from Animals to humans and every year Uganda still records many Human deaths from Rabies.
But it also can effect wildlife.
Unvaccinated dogs living in areas next to wildlife where they may interact can cause the disease to spread between domestic and wild animals.

We want to do something about it 💪 and when you travel with us you are too ❤️

Guide asks "What does everyone hope to see today?"
Other guests reply "Giraffe","Lion"....
I reply "Rhino! Espicially Black Rhino!"
Guide "Ok.. how about White? White we may see"
Me "Any Rhino I will be happy but Black I will be the happiest 🥰"
Guide "OK lets try our luck but Black Rhino are rarer and hard to see..."......the Safari progresses....
We see White Rhino ❤️
Then later... we spot more Rhino off in the distance.
"More Rhino far down there" the guide shouts out!
"Its more White Rhinos"...
I quickly zoom in..
"No.. Its Black Rhino!!"
And not just 1 but 4 Black Rhino!!..Day made 🥰

Did you know you can see Flamingos in Uganda 😍
Pictured here are the more common Lesser Flamingo but you can also find the Greater Flamingo.
You find them seasonally in lakes around Queen Elizabeth National Park, they migrate from other neighbouring East African countries like Kenya and Tanzania in search of suitable feeding grounds mainly in the dry season.
