No refund from Eir.
My broadband cable was still intact after storm Eowyn on the 24th of January 2025, and remain so until it was cut by worker to get a large vehicle down the road .
Contacted Eir for a refund ,our line was not restored for nearly 2 months as they had to wait for a new cable .
They said the most they could give me was 30 euros as it was an act of God which it clearly wasn’t.
Not to mention that we run a home office and had to organise and paid for another mobile service .
In the two months which we were without service they charged us the full 2 months even thou they knew we had no service
