🎭 Cú Rí Mac Daire (The Druid of Many Faces) on Friday 19th September at 1pm in St. John’s Theatre & Arts Centre

Not many warriors have ever got one over on the most lauded of warriors Cú Chulainn.

But there was one giant and sorcerer who not only beat, but buried Cú Chulainn to his armpits, cut his luscious locks and smeared his head with dung.

So brutal was the humiliation Cú Roí Mac Daire laid upon the hero of Ulster that Cú Chulainn dared not show his face for a whole year.

Written & presented by Foinse, a group of storytellers, musicians, artists and singers based in Corca Duibhne, who delve into the deep mythological stories stored in the landscape that surrounds them.
