This project has to be pushed out by one week. Works beginning on 16/06/2025.

‼️‼️MOUNTMELLICK TOWNLINK CUSTOMERS‼️‼️

We have been notified of a one way road closure between Super Valu and Glanbia starting on the 9th of June for 4-6 weeks for water main works. This will restrict us picking up at Supervalu and the Church on the outbound to tullamore only. INBOUND FROM TULLAMORE TO PORTLAOISE STOPS ARE NOT AFFECTED. The bus will come from portlaoise straight to O Connell square for the duration of these works. Please take note of this change.

“Please see attached, the proposed Diversion route and outline detail for the one-way closure of Parnell St., Mountmellick on the North Eastbound direction (toward Tullamore).
These works are expected to take 4 to 6 weeks, all going well, and the lane would be closed for about 4 weeks of that time, starting on the 9th June (subject to change)”

The train station has been awarded “Age Friendly” status recognising Iarnród Éireann’s commitment to making public transport more accessible, inclusive, and welcoming, particularly for older adults and people with disabilities.
