Wheels of Inclusion & Pathways of Possibility 💫

What an incredibly positive and inspirational week here at Park Beo with the Launch of the NEW Inclusive Cycling Hub 🚲

Our own Eiméar Doughty of Park Beo commented at the launch, “we feel privileged to have this opportunity to manage and bring to life an inclusive cycling hub that welcomes every ability”. Eiméar credited Meath Local Sports Partnership, Meath County Council and George Allen of Feel Good Bicycles for their “excellent working relationship in making this happen”.

The launch by Meath Local Sports Partnership on Wednesday 27th of August was attended by Meath County Council Cathaoirleach, Cllr. Wayne Harding, Council staff, members of Prosper Kells, members of the Irish Wheelchair Association, Navan, Feel Good Bicycles and Brendan and Eiméar Doughty of Park Beo.

Excitement was high as Garda Eve McCrystal arrived to officially launch the new Inclusive Cycling Hub. Eve was half of the incredible tandem cycling duo with Katie-George Dunlevy who dominated the Paralympics with 6 medals from 2016-2024 and took time out to meet with local Para Athletes, Jack O'Connor and Olivia Sherlock.

The new Inclusive Cycling Hub at Park Beo will make cycling accessible to everyone and is funded by Sport Ireland's Dormant Accounts Sports Inclusion Disability Projects (SIDP) programme through Meath Local Sports Partnership. 3 adaptive bikes were unveiled including a tandem for visually impaired cyclists and 2 recumbent hand-cycles.

Back for the second year with an incredible line up of events happening right along the Boyne Valley to Lakelands Greenway from G’N’R Christmas Trees & Café in Kilmainhamwood right along to Halla Bhaile Ghib sa Gaeltacht.

We have been busy planning our own schedule of events here at Park Beo Greenway Hub in Wilkinstown. Stay tuned to us here and over on Instagram to see what we have in store for Siamsa Glas ‘25!! 💚

Oh what a night!!

A beautiful evening here at Park Beo Greenway Hub with our lovely campervan visitors all settled in for the night. Getting rested and ready for a day in the saddle exploring the Boyne Valley to Lakelands Greenway 🛤️🚴🏼‍♀️🚴🏼‍♂️
