Waterside Cottages Waterside cottages are 11 four star exclusive holiday cottages in their own private & secluded grounds located in the village of Dromineer, Lough Derg.

All cottages are identical in layout and accommodation with 3 of the cottages detached and 8 semi-detached. Each cottage has 3 bedrooms, accommodating 6 persons, the master double bedroom with en suite bathroom, two twin bedrooms (one on the ground floor) and a fully fitted bathroom. There is a large living room with separate kitchen and dining area. The cottages are located at the heart of Dromineer village in easy walking distance of all amenities, yet within their own well tended gardens.

🚧 Exciting News from Waterside Cottages! 🌊

We’re delighted to share that construction has officially begun on the refurbishment of Waterside Cottages in Dromineer!

This marks the start of an exciting new chapter as we transform the cottages into a refreshed and welcoming lakeside escape for our past and future guests.

Over the coming months, the cottages will be carefully upgraded to offer even more comfort, while also retaining the charm and character that make this beautiful spot on the shores of Lough Derg so special. Our goal is simple, to create the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy everything that Dromineer and Nenagh have to offer.

We’ll be sharing updates along the way as the work progresses, so you can follow our journey from construction to completion.

We can’t wait to welcome our returning and new guests when we the doors🙏

We are all deeply shocked and saddened at the very sad passing of our former chairman Donal Whelan. Donal had been chairman for several years of the Dromineer & district development association & continued to be a valued committee member until the end.Donal contributed hugely to life in the village & was in constant contact with the council trying to improve facilities in our village. Donal loved the lake & was delighted to see so many use it both in summer and winter. One of the many things Donal did was organise our village Christmas tree, he would order the Christmas tree & gather a team of volunteers to put on lights,ensuring that the village had a festive atmosphere for all to enjoy. Donal will be a huge loss to our village & will be sadly missed by all who had the fortune of knowing him.We extend our deepest sympathy to Marie,Simon,Naoimi, Sarah, Olivia, Hugo & all the extended family.
