Twixt Dunree and Fanad. The Lough Swilly ferry in County Donegal.

On the western shore of Lough Swilly you can see Fanad Lighthouse in the distance. On the eastern shore you can see Fort Dunree. For a fleeting few seconds the Summer ferry that links Buncrana and Rathmullan aligns with the mouth of Lough Swilly in the distance.

The ferry and boat trips around the coast of County Donegal are some of the most wonderful things you can do when you visit our wee part of the world :) In my humble opinion ;)
