Best wishes for 2024 from us all in Buccaneers RFC . Start the new year with a well - being morning activity of a 5km walk with us all and invite your Friends along to enjoy our Festive atmosphere in the Athlone Regional Sports Centre

Date for your Diary looking forward to seeing you on the day in the Regional sports centre.

Registration open from 11am for a 5km walk on all the facilities will be available. Such as the astro ,
a playground for the kids and a Coffee shop for everyone. The 5km route is 2 laps of the Track.

Congratulations to Rob Keane on receiving the "Spirit of Rugby Volunteer Award" from IrishRugby!

Rob formed Ballincollig Warriors in October 2018 as a rugby team for children with additional needs. He was also involved in the setting up of the Ballincollig Trailblazers, our all-inclusive Mixed Ability Women's team, who played in the World Cup last summer.

His passion for the sport and commitment to making it accessible to everyone, regardless of their background, is a testament to the true spirit of rugby.

Thank you Rob for your tireless efforts and congratulations again on this well-deserved recognition!

To Reserve a Place

The camp will consist of two age groups, U13-U15 incl and U16 - U18.5 incl. Both boys and girls can attend. The camp will run from 09:00 - 13:00 on APR 11, 12 and 13. Cost is €50 per player for the three days. The following skills will be covered: The breakdown; kicking (all types); pass catch; set piece. Each day will include tag rugby and other games to practice the skills learned. The camp will only run if sufficient numbers commit.

in the Freshers League final tonight at 7pm. From all TPXSport.
University of Limerick are favourites.
Many clubs have players involved in this GAA Higher Education All Ireland Rally for Life final but only Creggs Gaa have players involved with both squads in Roscommon GAA - Club Rossie U20s player Tomas Crean who will be wearing No. 6 for his UL Freshers team while Roscommon Football Legends & 2006 minor All Ireland winner Colin Canny will be coachinghis Maynooth freshers tonight. Ballinagar GAA are also represented in the final by Morgan Tynan who was the powerhouse of Offaly U20S successful summer,
Morgan began playing with the parish team Na Fianna from U8s he has won County A Championships at u14 u16 and minor, also being named Offaly minor player of the year in the victorious minor year. He had lined out in the forward line between full and centre forward all those years
He had played for Offaly all through out those years too which weren’t very successful until the great u20 All ireland win of last year in a new position for him at midfield
