🎉 Celebrating 20 Years: Bernd Schwinge 🎉

This month, we are proud to celebrate Bernd's 20-year journey with Tour Partner Group.

When he joined, we were a team of just over 30 people, mainly serving the German coach tourism market. Two decades later, and together with the DACH team, Bernd has helped build DACH into one of our strongest volume businesses into the UK and Ireland — including our first flight groups from Germany, a moment he still remembers vividly.

As Business Development Director for DACH, with a main focus on TPG Nordics, he has spent those years on the road — at trade shows, with clients, and in the destinations themselves — working hand in hand with our sales teams in Copenhagen, and for many years with the London-based team before that.

His passion is not only professional: more than 25 years of holidays in Scotland's North-West Highlands, a growing love for Norway, and a Finnish sauna cabin that may yet make Finland his "Scotland number two". That enthusiasm is exactly what our customers hear when he talks about a new tour.

What keeps it interesting after 20 years? In his own words, the company has changed so much that it has felt like joining a new one every five years — and it has certainly never been boring.

Finnish Lapland under the midnight sun ☀️

Our team recently joined a French famtrip to Levi, with Anthony Rosier and Julien Baes from Tour Partner Group travelling alongside our French tour operator partners, Kirsi Vestenius from and Sanna Tuononen from I wish I was in Finland .

A few days of outdoor activities under the endless daylight showed a quieter, greener side of Lapland — from canoeing on the river to campfire dinners and wide-open landscapes. There is a lot to discover here in summer 🌲

Thank you to Sanna and Visit Finland for their support, to Kirsi and the Levi region for organising the programme, and to the French tour operator partners who joined during this busy season. We look forward to promoting the destination together.
