🎉 Celebrating 5 Years: Clare Verwoerd-Sharpe 🎉
This month marks five years since Clare joined us. She started at JacTravel on a temporary part-time contract, as a marketing team of one.
Today she is Marketing Manager for the North American market, working across Tour Partner Group and Authentic Vacations to make Europe as easy as possible for tour operators and travel advisors to sell. Strategy, campaigns, content, trade shows — and, in her own words, one day deep in the data and the next designing a brochure.
What Clare is proudest of is not a campaign. It is her journey at Tour Partner Group: from a team of one to managing within a team she calls really special, and trusting herself in a way she did not five years ago. What she values most here is the trust and support — people challenging each other, asking questions and backing one another to grow.
Outside work you will find her hiking with her dog Lola, reading by the fire, or somewhere rather more adventurous: she has done the world's highest bungee jump.👏
South Africa, where her family are from and where she got married, is still her favourite place on earth.🦓
