We'd like to show our appreciation for Rebecca and the team at Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links .

This summer, Vanessa, Jhonatas and Camille were hosted by Portmarnock Resort for not one but two FAM trips - giving our team a first-hand look at everything this stunning coastal venue has to offer for MICE and incentive groups.

Set on the shoreline of the Portmarnock peninsula, this is a stretch of Dublin coast worth putting on the map for any group itinerary. The golden strand, sea air, and a genuine slice of Irish heritage (the estate was once home to the Jameson whiskey family) makes it a scenic spot worth visiting.

The programme included a drinks reception in An Sibin Pub, dinner in the Seaview Restaurant, and a boat trip from Malahide Marina to Lambay Island for a guided tour – who knew Ireland had wallabies?! 🦘

We didn't get the chance to tee off this time, but the resort's Jameson Golf Links, is a championship course and certainly on the list for a future visit. ⛳

A huge thanks to Rebecca and the entire team for such a great couple of days. We can't wait to share these experiences to our clients!

Another successful event delivered by Horizons! 🙌

Last week, Jhonatas flew over to Copenhagen to deliver an outstanding two-day conference for the Mercatus Center at George Mason University.

We hosted 120 international attendees over the two days, with every detail designed to meet our client's needs while showcasing some of the best of Copenhagen. From a welcome dinner at the iconic Grøften in Tivoli Gardens, to a guided boat tour along the canals, to a spectacular gala dinner at Odd Fellow Palæet, Nonnebakken.

The Scandic Spectrum Hotel provided the perfect base for the full conference programme. As always, they were a pleasure to work with, ensuring seamless delivery from start to finish.

We want to thank our partners and the Mercatus Center at George Mason University for trusting us with the Emergent Ventures Copenhagen Conference - we look forward to working together in the future!

🎉 Huge congratulations to Jack Owens, who's been nominated for the Tourism Industry Confederation & Business Plus 40 Under 40!

Jack's been named one of Ireland's 40 brightest young tourism leaders, alongside some serious talent. Five finalists will go forward to the ITIC Annual Conference on October 1st, where the winner will be announced live on stage.

Jack is currently off on leave, celebrating his birthday somewhere in the quiet Irish countryside, blissfully unaware this post exists. Which is probably for the best, because he never would have signed off on this level of shameless self-promotion.

In all seriousness - Happy Birthday Jack! Congratulations on the nomination, anyone who's worked with you knows it is thoroughly deserved!

It's officially official - The MEETINGS SPACE is coming to Ireland!

Earlier this week Jack, Camille and Jhonatas had a great couple of days hosting the team from TMS in Dublin, getting them around the venues for next year's North American Buyer's event.

Nothing beats seeing it in person, walking the rooms and meeting the people behind the venues. With an exciting programme confirmed and ready-to-go, we’re looking forward to hosting everyone in the Emerald Isle next July!
