This is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of and a wonderful recognition of the commitment, expertise and hard work of our entire team. The Business All-Star Accreditation, awarded by the All-Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF), recognises Irish businesses that demonstrate excellence across three key pillars: Performance, Trust and Customer Centricity.

Becoming accredited is a rigorous process. Businesses undergo independent research and assessment, including consideration of their reputation, business performance, customer feedback, governance and standards, followed by an interview and verification process.

For us, this accreditation is particularly meaningful as it reflects what we strive to deliver every day: exceptional experiences, trusted partnerships and consistently high standards for our clients and their guests.

With over 30 years of experience as Ireland’s Leading Cruise Ground Operator and a leading Destination Management Company, we’re proud to continue delivering outstanding experiences across Cruise, Meetings, Incentives, Events, Group Travel and Speciality Travel.

A Massive Thank You, Cathie ❤️

As Cathie starts her next chapter, we want to take a moment to say a very heartfelt thank you for everything she has given to Excursions Ireland over the past 10 years.

Cathie began her journey with us as part of our guide team, & what started with guiding our guests soon grew into something much bigger. She became our Guide Coordinator & as the company continued to grow, took on the role of Team Lead, supporting our fantastic team of Guide Coordinators & playing a huge part in building the wonderful guide pool we have today.

For the past decade, Cathie has been a hugely important part of what happens behind the scenes. From recruiting & training guides, to sharing her knowledge & expertise, supporting our coordinators & helping our guides deliver the very best experiences for our guests. Her knowledge of guiding, her understanding of our guides & guests, & her ability to find a solution when things don't quite go to plan have been invaluable. She has helped shape the guiding side of our business into what it is today, & we simply wouldn't be where we are without her.

We are going to miss Cathie immensely — her experience, her wisdom & her support.

Thankfully, though, this isn't really goodbye.

Cathie is going back to where it all began — out on the road, guiding our wonderful guests on our shore excursion tours. And we couldn't be happier that she will still be part of the Excursions Ireland family, sharing her incredible knowledge, stories & experience with our guests.

They will now get to experience first-hand what we've been lucky enough to experience over the past 10 years.

So, Cathie, a massive thank you for your dedication, commitment, hard work, friendship & everything you have contributed over the past decade.

The guiding side of Excursions Ireland simply would not be what it is today without you.

Here's to the next chapter, plenty of new guiding adventures, & hopefully slightly fewer occasions where you're asked to perform the impossible!

🚢✨ The cruise doesn’t stop when the ship docks…

Alongside operating shore excursions, we also look after turnaround services for our cruise clients.

So, what’s a turnaround? It’s the small matter of disembarking an entire ship and embarking a whole new group of guests — all in the same day! 😄

From check-in and transfers to people management, guest and luggage assistance, and everything in between, our teams are there to make sure every detail runs smoothly.

There are plenty of moving parts — it’s a big, busy, exciting jigsaw puzzle! 🧩

And the best part? Making sure guests leave with a smile and that the next group arrives to a warm welcome, ready to begin their cruise adventure. 🌊🛳️

It’s all about creating the best possible experience at the end of one journey and the beginning of another.

A successful inaugural turnaround of Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection to Ireland 🇮🇪 and we are so proud to play our part in looking after guests debark and embark.

From private transportation and personalised check-in services to entertainment, professional es**rt teams, warm welcomes, and meticulous coordination behind the scenes, every element was delivered with the care, precision, and the attention to detail our clients expect.

Success on this scale is always a collective effort. A sincere thank you to McPorts for their outstanding on-pier coordination and collaboration, Dublin Port for city berth, and Pro Bus and Car for delivering transport services throughout. A special mention also goes to Caoimhe Armstrong, whose leadership, organisation, and attention to detail ensured every element was in place and every moving part came together seamlessly.

We’re incredibly proud of what our team achieved and grateful for the opportunity to help make this inaugural visit such a success. We look forward to welcoming many more guests to Ireland and continuing to showcase the very best of Irish hospitality.
