Common Rosefinch singing in the Nordy Wood today. It has been here for a few days but the song has had us really confused! Not the typical "Pleased to see you" song, more like "See you, see you"

As the 2014 birding season trundles into view I am pleased to say that the Bird Walks on Cape will again be available this year! There will be two options - an early (ish!) walk around the Bogs and cliffs, lasting around two hours and an afternoon stroll along the cliffs hopefully seeing Dolphins and/or whales as well as the seabirds, of course. This also will take around two hours.

Both walks will be available on Fridays through to Mondays from Mid March until late October and will cost 10 euro per person. They will have to be pre-booked through this page or via email on [email protected]

One Minke still there this morning. 25 Sooties as well as a Bonxie cruising past. What a way to have breakfast!!
