We are excited to announce we will be hosting a charity auction and raffle in aid of Northwest Hospice and Northwest Stop. It will take place Sunday 31st of May at Whoriskeys Cashelard with live music on the day.

Mr. Sligo 2026 is Conor Keaney. Conor is a member of Benbulben Macra! Conor is 21 years old and is medical engineer for Abbott. Conor’s guilty pleasure involves painting garden ornaments. Conor’s memorable Macra moment was during the Lip Sync battle where himself and his brother dressed up as the 2 Johnnies and performed to their silage song. We hopefully might get to see this again over the weekend. Conor’s embarrassing moment was when he was in school. He sat on a chair which was on top of a table and when the teacher returned, she lost the head at him.

We look forward to welcoming Conor and his supporters to Kilkenny.
