Glorious in black and white!

Grianan of Aileach / An Grianan Ailigh in Burt on the Inishowen Peninsula in County Donegal. I was later than planned visiting this amazing ancient monument at the Vernal Equinox in March. I could only catch the last fleeting moments of the blinding rising sun as its beam retreated from the doorway. But I think the contrasting light and shadow lent itself to a black and white image. It is such a magical place and a must visit if you are travelling the Donegal route on the Wild Atlantic Way or nearby on the Causeway coastal route.
