The Old Cinema, situated in Wildacres, Consall's 3 and 1/2 acre garden has just hosted an Open Garden weekend for the NSPCC - hoping to raise £2000. Artist Rob Pointon produced some stunning paintings of our water lilies. accommodation still available for August and September.

These beautiful secret gardens are open for the NSPCC on Saturday June 9th 2018 . 12-5pm. Entrance £5 - children under 12 free. Rob Pointon paintings and cards and calendars available - tea and cake available on the kitchen lawn.

3 weeks ago we had a Hindu bride staying with us, who had a civil ceremony at Consall Hall followed by a Hindu ceremony. This was followed by a wedding party ride on the Churnet valley Railway. The family who stayed were so glad to be close to the actual wedding - they loved the Old Cinema :)

Sprucing the place up before visitors arrive - beautiful views this morning with mist rising out of the valley. Reasonable rates for a complete flat with large lounge and "Marilyn Monroe" bedroom. Our next guest is getting married at Consall Hall - and has chosen our venue to help her relax and prepare for the "big day" . We are thrilled to help. PLEASE SHARE :)

This weekend we hosted a bride and groom - had hairdresser and make-up artist on the Sunday morning , preparing the bride and bridesmaids for a lovely day. They were married on the Sunday at Consall Hall - a really lovely experience to see 2 young people start out on their married life together ! xx
