Exciting times for Irish rugby as a very exciting U 20 Irish team on course for a 2nd in a row Grand Slam after taking England apart on their own sod.

Ireland's Under-20s remain on course to defend their Six Nations Grand Slam title after a convincing victory over England at Franklin Gardens.

A few days ago I had Stacey Collins, from California on the walk around Tralee. She was in Tralee with her step parents as her stepfather came from Tralee. It was only since she came to Ireland & saw the name COLLINS on shop fronts & was reading about Michael Collins that she realised that it was an Irish surname.... She really liked the Cauldron Of the Great Dagda in the Garden of the Senses

The Porter Family from Cambridge were in Tralee for a number of days. While here they were hoping to get information on a Grandfather / Gt Grandfather/Gt Gt Grandfather called Healy. Hopefully they were able to get it in the archives in Tralee Library. They came on the tour with me with another Spanish couple, Annie & Fernando, from Madrid in Spain. Annie & Fernando were staying in Abbeydorney area for a week & their children went to the local GAA club to learn how to hurl.

They were very interested in history so they were delighted to find out about the origins of Tralee from 1216 to the present day. Hope they enjoy the remainder of their stay here.

Emily, from Toronto, was in Tralee recently, with a friend. The reason she is here in Ireland is for a set dancing course in Sligo. So she is taking in the South West too. So she came with me around the town to get to know more of it. Again she was very impressed with the Window of Reconsiliation - amazed with the colours used. Hope Emily enjoys the remainder of her stay in Ireland

Last week I met a group of ladies from Shannon Town - Probus. They came to Tralee on their annual outing. Leaving Shannon at 7.30am they were able to fit in a trip to Blennerville Windmill & walked back the canal for lunch in the Brogue. After lunch they came on the Walk around Tralee Town visiting St John;s Church, Castle St & St John's Church Ashe St. They were amazed at the Window of Reconciliation. They got back to Shannon safely at 9.45pm., I believe! What a day. They really enjoyed their time in Tralee town. Best of luck to them.Hope they come back soon again.
