We wanted to share something a bit different with you this week so heres an aerial night view of the Boyne Cable Bridge with the night lights of Drogheda Town in the back ground.

Now we're sure this will cause much debate regarding the name and precise location of the bridge as we’ve seen before when posting photos of the bridge so heres the facts straight from Mr. Google’s mouth :)

Officially named “The Mary McAleese Boyne Valley Bridge" it is located 3km west of Drogheda spanning the Boyne and the county boundaries of Meath and Louth. The bridge was designed by Roughen & O’Donovan and was constructed between 2000 and 2003 at a cost of between €35 and €40 million.

No matter what the name or location we think it looks pretty awesome at night! Please feel free to share, comment and be sure to have a look through some of our other aerial views from around the country at out page Copter View
