I started the day in Keady Co Armagh and later visited Armagh City. I was there many times before but always at night and I had never visited the cathedrals, museums or libraries. I took a walk around The Robinson Library and was blown away.

I met Greg at Caherconnell on Sunday last. It was a pleasure to meet him and he introduced me to the wonderful sheep dogs. Earlier he gave my guests a demonstration of the dogs talents. Join me for a visit to Caherconnell and The Cliffs of Moher next time you are in Ireland.

No more grumpy partners trying to get back to Dublin sooner and trying to.bribe me to cut corners. Leave them at home.

I had a private tour yesterday to The Cliffs of Moher. I needed to spice it up a little so we headed across the Hills of Clare to see the dogs in action at Caherconnel . The couple were over the moon and so was I. Join me sometime

Kinsale is a great stop on The Wild Atlantic Way and beats Cork City any time. The Old Head of Kinsale is an Irish Landmark and also where the Luisitania sank in the First World War. The Golf Course is also breathtaking and famous for it's unbeatable scenery.

Over the years I have grown to love Rostrevor a coastal village in Co Down. It is a beautiful town which also gives access to The Mountains of Mourne one of the best hiking areas in the country.

The 19th Century Church of St Peter in Rhode ,Co Offaly beautiful in its simplicity.

14/04/2025

It's a while since I visited Castleward on the shores of Strangford Lough. It is one of the best preserved houses in the country and would be a great stop on the way to Belfast.

One of the most interesting places I visited last year was Charlesfort an old miltary fortress which overlooks Kinsale Harbour in Co Cork. Take a look at where time stands still. I know Kathleen and Ardel are in Kinsale today and I hope they find it as wonderful as I did.
