and Air Canada today announced a new non-stop service between Shannon and Toronto.

The three times a week service will start from June 2027 and provides travellers with the only direct connection to Canada from Shannon.

Just back from a brilliant family adventure in England, the weather was gorgeous but behaved itself so we didn’t burst into flames. We DID however receive government issued messages with loud alarms to our mobile phones warning us to take care in the heat.

We visited medieval with its beautiful old buildings and quirky teapots, then had a relaxing punt tour in past the colleges, then headed to the River Stour for kayaking and wildlife spotting. We had some big fun at Legoland Windsor - very impressive builds and on another day we got the train to London (can never get enough of London!), where we had a hop-on/hop-off tour, a wander through Burlington Arcade, The London Eye and London Aquarium.

You really don’t have to travel far to make big memories together.
